It's Saturday, and it's horribly grey (gray? which is the Canadian way?) outside. Yesterday's weather just made me yearn for summer even more than I did before. I was filling up my gas in 14 degree weather. A slight breeze (okay, actually, it was windy) reminded me of standing on the pier in Florida. I don't know, but it was very, very sublime - which is what summer is all about a lot of the time, no?

Anyway, I've got craploads of work to do, none of which I've done, which is pretty horrible considering how little time I have to do work nowadays.

So far, the production's been going pretty well. Apparently on Fridays, the generator gets worked on, and therefore, the lighting board kept screwing up on me. You'd think that with all the money that York has, they'd be able to bribe someone into getting the hydro company to get us a new generator or transformer, or whatever makes the world go round...but no, 'tis not the case. Blackouts kept flickering between blackout and non-blackout - so the audience basically saw all of our set changes in plain view.

Anyway, only 3 more weeks of West Side Story to go! Maybe I'll check out the Ground Zero festival after that...
